The Office of Health Promotion is dedicated to improving student well-being and promoting the mental, social, emotional, and physical health of all students. Achieving and maintaining an optimal level of wellness subdues stress, promotes positive interactions, reduces the risk of illness, and ultimately ensures a higher quality of life.

The Office of Health Promotion is a confidential resource. Students can schedule appointments with the Health Educator and speak confidentially about individual health and wellness needs and concerns. In addition to providing one-on-one confidential support, the Office of Health Promotion addresses such topics as drugs & alcohol, stress & sleep, sexual health, nutrition & fitness, and mental health awareness through prevention and promotion services and programs.

The Office of Health Promotion also houses SHARE (Sexual Health & Assault Response & Education), a centralized resource for addressing sexual violence and promoting healthy sexuality and healthy relationships. SHARE offers support, advocacy, referrals and education and works to promote a culture of respect and create a safer, healthier Caltech.

The Office of Health Promotion is a joint service of the Counseling Center and the Student Health Center and an active part of the campus safety net.

If you would like to know more about Caltech's health promotion services, or make an appointment, please contact the Health Educator.
